Joanna successfully pitched at 2013 GEITF (The Guardian Edinburgh International Television Festival) for a Chinese distribution deal via CCTV for two seasons, seeing Joanna successfully in position as co-producer with writer Mick Lexington. The deal was turned down due to changes requested in China's historical and political content of 1920.

Joanna acted as freelance consultant for "Hollywood Seagull" by Michael Guinzburg, for sponsorship and distribution deals/screening New York City, 2014 and LA.
