As of 2016, Joanna was a leading brand ambassador and stylist for Diane Von Furstenburg in 2016 in New York City and since 2017 a face of and endorsement with Mavex Swiss Organic Cosmetics.

Joanna's work has included extensive modelling, print and runway work - feature bikini model at international surf label "Rip Curl" (Newquay/Biarritz/London), Extreme Sports Channel, and Agent Provocateur (Catwalk, Royal Exchange, London).
Joanna's fashion bookings have included Swedish Designer Label, Ravishing Mad, and included catwalk bookings and magazine distribution internationally. She has front covers for Who's Jack Magazine magazine in London, Choix Magazine and WAD magazine, France, as well as indie publications.

Joanna has walked for various runway/make up shows at LA/NYC fashion week events, as well as fashion videos for Berlin and Paris fashion week 2012, and rock and roll music videos.
Joanna is often asked to appear in music videos and has been photographed for four rock and roll album covers and EP sleeves (Spectorbullets with Russell Burn ex-Fire Engines, Robert King/The Scars, Motopony, The Band of Holy Joy) with worldwide distribution/outlets (Mojo, Uncut, Q magazine, MTV).
Joanna will work closely with top photographers in developing their artistic body of work, and is often chosen as their feature model - including, among many others, award winning photographers David Katzenstein and Sherrie Nickol for projects in New York City, and Kat McDonald conceptual photographer.

Joanna won a competition for face of top international Model Agency in London, UK, however, cited she "preferred to concentrate on acting," and in a feature interview with Zani Magazine, UK, 2012 Joanna stated that "writing and acting were her preference over model work."
However, 2015, saw her once again commence work with selected labels, and avant-garde photographers, she is known to admire, including Tina Turnbow (celebrity make up/photographer), NYC, Debbie Ellis UK, and most recently designer Cecilia Lundqvist Animal Masks for high fashion editorial bookings, London.

"It gives me endless enjoyment to be featured as 2014/15 face for Cecilia Lundqvist hand crafted vintage animal masks. I love the allure and attraction of being photographed in masquerade - to be exposed and hidden. My biggest inspiration in my own art - for photography, acting, modelling (as the art of self portrait), and my writing - is Claude Cahun: the endless reinvention of self, often by masquerade, or role play, or pseudonym. In August 2015, Joanna accepted endorsement as the face for cosmetic gold and silver spa brand, The Colloidal Company, Scotland. Joanna has modelled for charity work for "See Me Not My Label" with donations going to MIND and to raise awareness for mental health issues.
